This year, 𝟾𝟼 works were sent to the secretariat of the 𝟽th Annual Photo exhibition of University of Tehran, and a total of 𝟸𝟷 works were chosen by the judges It is worth mentioning that referring to the third paragraph of the 𝟽th annual call, although each person was allowed to send 𝟸 works to the secretariat of this year, eventually, only one work could be selected among the works of each participant. Among the selected works, 𝟽 works belong to master students and the rest belong to bachelor students.
The judging of this year contained two stages: initially, all the works were given to the judges in a coded format and the judges had the opportunity to register their positive, negative or abstention vote about the works within a few days. Through the second stage, the works with at least 𝟸 positive votes were reviewed during an in-person judging session which lasted around 𝟺 hours. Ultimately, the works that had at least 𝟹 positive votes and 𝟷 abstention were selected.
- In order to fulfill Clause 𝟸 of Article 𝟷 The Guideline for Holding the Annual Photo Exhibition of University of Tehran concerning the preparation of a written archive around the activities and works of University of Tehran Faculty of Fine Arts’ photography students, all the works sent to the 𝟽th annual secretariat will be archived in the Photography Association archive.
- The selected works will be presented in the 𝟽th annual photo exhibition of University of Tehran and they will be awarded a certificate, a statue and other benefits.
- The votes for all 𝟾𝟼 works will be emailed to the owners by the coming days.
