The Annual Photo Exhibition of University of Tehran, College of Fine Arts started in 2017 with the efforts of the scientific association of this major. This event started with the aim of examining the position of academic photography in the artistic space of Iran, and over the course of different periods, other parts such as specialized meetings, work review sessions, artist talks and the broadcast of documentary films of great photographers were added to it, to increase its scientific status and load. Every year, the participants of these meetings from different cities of the country gather at the College of Fine Arts to create a friendly and professional atmosphere and create more interaction between the country's photography community and academic photography in Iran.
