This collection is a review of memories and incidents that took place at the University of Tehran during the autumn days of the year 2022 and the following conditions of society, that form the initial part of the project “It Happened Here”.
In the final days of December 2022, concurrently with the apparent calming of the social tumult, I experimented with “Pin-hole Photography”.
Approximately a year after those days, the association of the convulsive social incidents I had experienced at the university- upon daily encounters with the location where those events occurred- began to constantly and increasingly torment my mind.
Therefore, leveraging the year of experience I had gained in “Pin-hole Photography” and seeking a relative release from the disturbing state of reviewing my memories, I decided to create a personal booklet to serve as a record of my mental place-mapping, accompanied by articulated textual descriptions of what was passing through my imagination.
